Pregnant Girls Services
Assists unmarried women through their crisis pregnancies in a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn to make informed choices about their lives and face the future with hope and support. We also provide hotline support, counseling service, sex education presentations to schools, and our bilingual website, www.motherschoice.org, specifically targets young people and parents, offering frank information on relationships, self-esteem and sexual issues.
Child Care Home
Baby Care – our main home for children, where our professional staff and over 450 volunteers provide the love and care needed by the babies and children placed in our temporary care.
Wee Care – provides a home-like environment for children with special needs from newborn to 6 years old. It is a specialized child care centre which provides appropriate therapies and residential services for these children who are awaiting adoption.
Adoption Services
Works with the Social Welfare Department and three overseas partner adoption agencies to help children with special needs aged under 16, find permanent loving families. These children have special needs varying from vision impairment to developmental delay to Down’s syndrome. Our Adoption Services is also accredited by the Social Welfare Department to provide local adoption service.
Foster Care Services & Small Group Homes
Provides a wide range of support, including temporary family care, for 80 children who are experiencing family crises or awaiting an adoptive home. Through Foster Care Service, these children can continue to enjoy family life, develop loving, caring relationships and receive proper nurturing until they reunite with their birth families or join an adoptive family. We also have three homes, each providing loving care for 8 children whose families are experiencing trauma or other challenges. House parents and experienced staff provide care, 24-hour support and supervision.
