Jessica Emmett is a freelance media and community artist from Manchester, UK. Her work explores issues surround adoption, family & culture. She draws from her own experiences as a transracial adoptee. Her birth mother was a Vietnamese refugee that fled to Hong Kong after the Vietnam War in which she was adopted by a white British couple who were working and living in Hong Kong.
