Foster parents Sam and Carol, together with our social worker, appeared on ViuTV’s VIURIETY programme on 3 August. AK, Alton and Frankie from Popular boy band MIRROR prepared a meal to express their appreciation for foster parents and social workers, thanking them for accompanying children’s growth with love and care.
During the programme, Sam and Carol shared their foster care journey and the joys and challenges along the way. While saying goodbye to foster children is never easy, they shared that they feel grateful to see children eventually find their forever families and grow up in a loving environment. They also demonstrated diaper-changing skills and exchanged parenting tips with Mirror, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
We’re grateful to Sam and Carol for sharing their stories, as well as to MIRROR, hosts Johnny and Sarika, and the ViuTV production team for helping more people understand foster care and join hands to bring the love of family to more children.
