Mother’s Choice Founder shared their founding story and her journey of personal healing

Phyllis Marwah is one of the co-founders of Mother’s Choice. She came to Hong Kong in the 1970s for academic research. After seeing news about the severe issue of teenage pregnancies and losing a friend’s sister to the same problem, she and her friend, along with their husbands, founded the organization.  Over 37 years, Mother’s Choice has cared for more than 50,000 pregnant girls. Their Child Care Home has cared for more than 3,000 babies and completed over 300 adoptions, giving these children permanent homes. In the following interview, Phyllis details the founding of the organization, the challenges she faced, and how strangers comforted her at critical times.
