On a beautiful Sunday (25 January), the grounds of Diocesan Boys’ School were transformed into something truly magical. We welcomed families from across Hong Kong to our Family Fun Fest, and the energy was simply electric. Under the sun and our theme, “All for Family, Family for All!”, it was a day that reminded us just how powerful a community can be when it comes together with love.
The air was filled with laughter from the carnival games. Our info sessions sparked deep and meaningful conversations. The lively performances lit up the stage. The spirit of family was everywhere. We saw foster and adoptive families, dedicated volunteers, church groups, schools, and corporate partners all standing side-by-side. In that moment, we weren’t just a crowd, we were one big family united by a single vision: every child in a loving family.
We were honoured to have Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, join us for the opening ceremony. He commended the collaborative efforts between the Government and Mother’s Choice in building a caring safety net for vulnerable children and families.
Our CEO, Sky Siu, captured the heart of the day perfectly when she shared: “Everyone has a role to play in protecting children and building strong families. We must not only shield children from abuse and exploitation but also transform lives through hope, ensuring every child has a loving family.”
